Bad Company Corrupts Good Character

Proverbs 6:27 (NIV) says, “Can a man scoop fire into his lap without his clothes being burned?”

You could be the best Christian in the world, but if you surround yourself with bad influences, they will influence you. Yes, we need to minister to non-believers and let them see the love and grace that God offers to us all, but while we are ministering, we need to surround ourselves with Christ, the church, and godly people who can help us stay strong while being a shining light. A candle is of no use if it has no flame.

1 Corinthians 15:33 (NIV)
Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”
